Patrick Mahomes, the two-time Super Bowl champion and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, has partnered with Azuki, a popular NFT project, to launch a new line of digital collectibles. The collection, which will be available on Mahomes’ own NFT platform, The Museum of Mahomes (M.O.M.), will feature custom artwork of Mahomes created by the Azuki art team.

On Monday afternoon, it introduced its most recent partnership with the decentralized anime storytelling brand. This also signifies Azuki’s second foray into the realm of sports collaborations, following its 2022 partnership with Formula One’s Oracle Red Bull Racing. “We’re proud to announce the collaboration between Museum of Mahomes and Azuki on exclusive limited edition physical cards!” said M.O.M. in a tweet.

As part of the collaboration, M.O.M. will release a physical trading card featuring custom artwork of Patrick Mahomes designed by the Azuki art team. The card will be free to original Azuki token holders. One of the cards will be a special one-of-one card with additional Mahomes-themed design elements. This one-of-one card will be raffled off to the Azuki community during a live stream later this month.

In March 2021, M.O.M. sold a collection of 500 unique digital artworks in 20 minutes for a total of $3.7 million, setting a world record for the highest-grossing athlete NFT drop. The curated collection of open-edition digital artworks reflected significant moments in Patrick Mahomes’ life.

The collaboration between M.O.M. and Azuki is a groundbreaking move in the world of digital sports collectibles. It gives Azuki’s community exclusive access to memorabilia that showcases Patrick Mahomes’ early achievements.
