From July 24th to August 7th, The Sandbox welcomes participants from around the world – players, creators, builders, and collectors – to take part in a special activation focused on celebrating individuality and diversity. During this thrilling event, five unique experiences await exploration: The Valley of Belonging II, Baby Yors – Social Hub, Healverse, WoW Museum, and Club XYZ featuring Blond:Ish.
In celebration of Belonging Week, The Sandbox has teamed up with People of Crypto to unveil a special Avatar collection. Additionally, users can actively contribute to creating a secure and inclusive environment in The Sandbox with the Unity Squad avatar.
Minting a Unity Squad avatar not only allows you to express solidarity but also provides support to two impactful organizations. The first, Forbidden Colours, actively works towards promoting positive change for LGBTIQ+ communities in Europe, with a focus on integration, education, health, and employment. The second organization, Outfest, aims to amplify diverse LGBTQIA+ narratives and empowers storytellers to drive significant social change.
Moreover, each avatar purchase brings exciting rewards, wearables, surprises, and grants access to avatar holders from the previous season. Additionally, participants have the chance to earn prizes, including The Unity Squad Avatars, People of Crypto Avatars, and a Shared Pool of SAND tokens throughout the event.
